This position will require the use of remote tools, as well as going to site locations to resolve open issues, or complete outstanding requests that involve new functionality of PC hardware, software and peripherals.  This position requires the ability to articulate in a clear and precise manner and the ability to obtain information quickly and accurately. Will need to have 3-5 yrs of experience.

• Still will be supporting XP / Office 2003 in certain areas
• 1200 desktops in our environment (most concentrated in WI/AZ, however, support company owned distributors throughout the US)
• Most of our IT staff is in WI, however, some staff is also in AZ, FL, and NY
• We are pushing people to use Citrix, however, we still support IPsec VPN (trying to move to SSL VPN)
• Centralized data center in WI, building out redundant data center in AZ

The major software that are dealt with on a daily basis are Office Suite, AS/400, Mapics, SolidWorks, SmarTeam, and Adobe Suite.  By no means is that all inclusive, and not looking for specific experience in any of those, however, ability to troubleshoot to gather information is a must and experience with similar applications would help.  Most of the applications have specialists that more deep rooted issues would be escalated up to.

The big things we need people that ask the right questions, work well with users that are local/remote, and be able to manage their day according to the issues that are in their queue.  The support staff here is really a hybrid model, as they rotate answering the phones/managing the service desk queue, doing break/fix, and move/adds/changes.  So it is not just all answering calls.

Scope Of Work:

PeopleSoft Developer who will be required to provide production support for the PeopleSoft Expense (T&E) module as well as assigned to complete project work related to both the PeopleSoft GL and Expenses Modules. The Developer will be expected to take the lead on the production support requested and issue reported, during normal business hours, that are related to Expense module. They will be expected to clearly communicate the cause of any issues and provide recommendations for resolution to the customer and technical manager.

The Developer will work closely with the customer and the technical team to finalize business requirements/resolve issues, complete technical design documentations based on requirements as well as technical support documentation as needed; complete application development, unit test all changes and supporting UAT. They will be closely working with Developers while migrating changes to production.
